Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is seeking a Strategic Communications Lead to support a high-visibility cybersecurity mission-support program. This role will lead the development and execution of communication strategies that improve collaboration, information sharing, stakeholder engagement, and mission awareness across a large cybersecurity organization.\nThe Strategic Communications Lead will work closely with customer leadership, program managers, cybersecurity subject-matter experts, and Government stakeholders to translate complex technical and operational information into clear, compelling, and actionable communications. The successful candidate will help ensure that the right information reaches the right audience at the right time through effective briefings, reports, presentations, internal communications, training materials, and engagement activities.\nThis position is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys working in a mission-focused technical environment and can bring clarity, creativity, and strategic discipline to complex cybersecurity programs.\nYou’ll be joining Parsons’ local Analytics & Engineering team, a community known for its strong culture of defensive cyber operations, technical excellence, and collaboration. From team lunches and ice cream socials to family-friendly seasonal events and technical learning sessions, we work hard to create an environment where people can do meaningful work and enjoy being part of the team.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop and execute strategic communication plans aligned with customer priorities, mission objectives, and program goals.\nEstablish communication processes, standards, templates, and best practices for the program.\nDevelop executive-level briefings, talking points, presentations, newsletters, fact sheets, reports, and other communication products.\nTranslate complex cybersecurity, security, HR, legal, and program-management information into clear communications for technical and nontechnical audiences.\nSupport recurring Government and contractor meetings, including agendas, briefings, decision documentation, action-item tracking, and meeting minutes.\nCoordinate communications across the Security, Human Resources, Judge Advocate, and Program Management functions.\nSupport the development and presentation of monthly status reports, program updates, milestone briefings, and performance summaries.\nPrepare communications related to risks, issues, corrective actions, schedule impacts, staffing changes, and Government actions required.\nDevelop stakeholder engagement strategies to improve collaboration, information sharing, and organizational alignment.\nSupport training, security-awareness, workforce-development, and change-management communications.\nAssist with transition-in and transition-out communications, including stakeholder updates, knowledge transfer, and continuity planning.\nMaintain communication calendars, distribution lists, stakeholder maps, content libraries, and document repositories.\nReview communications products for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, appropriate security markings, and compliance with customer requirements.\nCoordinate with subject-matter experts to validate technical content and ensure communications accurately represent program activities and outcomes.\nMeasure communication effectiveness using engagement data, feedback, participation rates, and other relevant metrics.\nIdentify communication gaps and recommend improvements to increase transparency, stakeholder awareness, and mission effectiveness.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nTS/SCI clearance current'/active\n8+ years of strategic communications experience\nBachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, public administration, cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\nDemonstrated experience developing communication plans, executive briefings, presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications.\nExperience communicating complex technical, cybersecurity, Government, or operational topics to diverse audiences.\nStrong writing, editing, visual-design, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple communication products, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing priorities.\nExperience collaborating with senior leaders and technical subject-matter experts.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other collaboration or content-management tools.\nAbility to review and handle sensitive information in accordance with applicable security, privacy, and information-management requirements.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience supporting Air Force, intelligence community, federal, or other national-security customers.\nExperience developing communications for classified, controlled unclassified information, or sensitive mission environments.\nExperience with program-management communications, performance-based contracts, risk communications, and executive reporting.\nExperience with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.\nExperience with accessibility requirements, including Section 508.\nExperience developing internal campaigns, employee-engagement programs, training communications, or organizational-change communications.\nExperience measuring communications effectiveness through surveys, analytics, stakeholder feedback, or engagement metrics.\nProfessional certification in strategic communications, public relations, change management, project management, or a related field.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
