Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a talented Strategic Planner to join our growing team!\nAre you ready to put your Plans and Policy expertise to work on complex projects in support of an exciting mission focused on the Indo-Pacific region? The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work across multiple staff sections to self-task and guide J5 activities to combat drug-related transnational crime.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nConduct in-depth research and analysis to develop recommendations in support of theater strategy, campaign and contingency planning, force allocation, and irregular warfare/unconventional warfare (IW/UW) planning aligned to PACOM strategic guidance and operational requirements\nPlan, coordinate, and synchronize strategic operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) across the PACOM AOR; convert command guidance and dynamic requirements into deliberate staff products\nAssist operational planning teams, working groups, and integrated planning efforts across the task force; work closely with J2/J3 cross-functional teams to support U.S. law enforcement agencies and interagency partners\nCapture lessons learned, analyze deficiencies and connect findings to learning events to improve operational outcomes, etc.\nSupport development of planning workflows and dashboard capabilities, including AI-enabled workflow tools\nPrepare agendas and read-aheads to support planning events, capture decisions, and assign and track actions as required\nPrepare and deliver briefings to leadership, operational customers, and partner organizations as required \nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\n Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility\nBachelors degree, with additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree\n10+ years of experience, with additional education, training, and certifications able to count towards total years of experience\nDemonstrated experience utilizing the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to support government decision-making at the strategic level\nAbility to work independently while responding promptly to requests for information\nAdaptability in a dynamic work environment; ability to manage changing priorities effectively\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize products for senior leader briefings and external organizations\nHighly proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools, and data-sharing tools and databases (e.g Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) and Maven Smart System (MSS)\nValid US Passport\nWhat Desired Skills You Might Bring:\nExperience supporting USPACOM intelligence or operations\nPrevious experience supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions\nFamiliarity with Joint doctrine, campaign planning guidance, and interagency coordination processes\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
