This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful structural projects across the DC/MD/VA region and nationwide. We are looking for professionals with a passion for both conventional and design-build bridge programs who want to be part of a global company that has transformed over 4,400 bridges worldwide.\nIn this role, you will work on a variety of bridge projects, including concrete and steel bridges, deck and superstructure rehabilitations, and innovative designs. You will have the opportunity to enhance your technical expertise while delivering high-quality bridge designs that meet the needs of our clients. This role would require you to work from our Baltimore, MD office.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan and design bridge structures to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.\nPerform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks with precision and efficiency.\nDevelop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, and designs.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project.\nServe as a lead engineer for specific disciplines on small to intermediate-sized projects or contribute as part of a larger project team.\nDemonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative problem-solving, and delivering superior results.\nBuild and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.\nMaster’s degree in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred.\n5+ years of experience in highway/roadway engineering design is required.\nProfessional Engineering (PE) license and other relevant certifications may be required.\nSkills and Competencies:\nProficiency in CAD and other engineering bridge design and analysis software tools is essential.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nThis position is in person Baltimore, MD office.
