In this role you will get to learn from brilliant engineers and participate in all steps of the software engineering process.\n3 month and 6 month internships are available with flexible start/end dates.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop, test, debug, and document software in a collaborative engineering environment.\nWrite software in C/C++ and Python for applications that interact with hardware, sensors, communications systems, or other constrained environments.\nWork in a Linux development environment using Git and standard software development tools.\nTroubleshoot issues across software, hardware, and system interfaces.\nCollaborate with engineers from software, electrical, systems, and test disciplines.\nParticipate in requirements analysis, design discussions, code reviews, integration, and system testing.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nQualified candidate must be in progress of obtaining a BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nExperience working in a Linux development environment.\nBasic programming experience in at least one object-oriented or systems programming language, such as C, C++, Rust, or Python.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nScripting experience for example with Python, Bash, or Shell.\nExperience with serial communications or protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, TCP/IP, or similar technologies.\nCoursework or project experience involving robotics, electronics, digital systems, signal processing, or autonomous systems.\nSecurity Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
