Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Vendor Management professional to support a major program and construction management team delivering a large, complex industrial infrastructure project.\nThe selected candidate will coordinate supplier planning, vendor performance, material tracking, expediting, logistics, and delivery activities. This position will work with program leadership, engineering, procurement, construction management, project controls, quality, commissioning, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure that equipment and materials satisfy technical, quality, cost, schedule, and documentation requirements.\nThis position is based near Little Rock, Arkansas and is part of a 4-5 year contract. During the first year, remote work is permitted. After the first year, the selected candidate will be required to either reside within commuting distance of Little Rock, AR or be willing to relocate to the area.\nPeriodic travel and coordination with program leadership, Client representatives, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and on-site personnel may be required.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop and maintain supply-chain and vendor-management plans, procedures, registers, reporting requirements, and escalation protocols.\nCoordinate supplier activities from award through submittals, fabrication, inspection, testing, shipment, delivery, installation support, commissioning, and closeout.\nMaintain visibility of critical procurement packages, long-lead equipment, materials, required-on-site dates, vendor milestones, and outstanding actions.\nConduct or support vendor kickoff meetings to confirm scope, schedule, technical requirements, quality expectations, reporting, documentation, and acceptance criteria.\nReview vendor schedules and status reports and verify progress using submittals, fabrication records, inspection results, photographs, shipping information, and other objective evidence.\nIdentify supplier-capacity constraints, material shortages, technical issues, quality concerns, logistics disruptions, and potential delivery delays.\nCoordinate vendor corrective actions and recovery plans and escalate unresolved issues that could affect construction or commissioning milestones.\nTrack vendor drawings, calculations, data sheets, procedures, certifications, manuals, test reports, warranties, and other required deliverables.\nCoordinate technical questions, substitutions, deviations, and vendor-document reviews with engineering, procurement, quality, construction, and commissioning personnel.\nSupport supplier surveillance, quality audits, source inspections, factory-acceptance testing, nonconformance resolution, corrective actions, and release for shipment.\nCoordinate packaging, preservation, transportation, delivery, unloading, receipt inspection, storage, inventory control, and material traceability.\nSupport the resolution of damaged shipments, shortages, incorrect deliveries, missing documentation, rejected materials, and replacement requirements.\nCoordinate vendor field-service representatives, startup specialists, training personnel, special tools, spare parts, software, and licenses required for installation and turnover.\nMaintain vendor-performance records and scorecards covering safety, quality, cost, schedule, responsiveness, documentation, and delivery.\nCoordinate supply-chain risks and mitigation actions with the Risk Manager, Scheduler, Cost Engineer/Estimator, and Package/Area Manager.\nProvide accurate vendor and material status for schedules, forecasts, progress reports, dashboards, Client briefings, and management decisions.\nSupport invoice, change, claim, warranty, and package-closeout reviews by maintaining complete and auditable supplier records.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWork remotely during the first year, with the expectation of residing within commuting distance of Little Rock, Arkansas, or relocating to the area thereafter.\nSupport periodic travel and coordination with program leadership, Client representatives, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers, logistics providers, and on-site personnel.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nMaster’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, contract administration, engineering, construction management, logistics, or a related field.\nExperience managing suppliers, long-lead equipment, material deliveries, and complex procurement packages on a large industrial, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or government program.\nExperience coordinating vendor submittals, fabrication, inspections, factory testing, transportation, delivery, installation support, and final documentation.\nStrong knowledge of supply-chain management, vendor coordination, expediting, logistics, material control, and contract administration.\nAbility to interpret technical specifications, drawings, vendor documents, schedules, inspection requirements, and contractual deliverables.\nAbility to evaluate supplier performance, identify emerging risks, and coordinate practical mitigation and recovery actions.\nKnowledge of supplier quality, inspection and test plans, factory-acceptance testing, nonconformance control, and corrective action.\nStrong analytical, forecasting, negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-support skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of vendor reports, scorecards, delivery forecasts, and management briefings.\nProficiency with procurement systems, PMIS platforms, scheduling tools, document-management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to manage multiple suppliers, packages, deliverables, risks, and deadlines within a multidisciplinary and matrixed organization.\nDemonstrated integrity, accountability, commercial awareness, and commitment to accurate and transparent reporting.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nFederal, Department of Defense, industrial manufacturing, energetics, or other highly regulated program experience.\nCertified Professional in Supply Management certification.\nCertified Supply Chain Professional certification.\nProject Management Professional certification.\nEquivalent supply-chain, procurement, or contract-management certification.\nExperience coordinating supplier quality audits, source inspections, factory-acceptance testing, nonconformance resolution, and release for shipment.\nExperience managing vendor
