The Technical Analyst provides expert-level technical analysis and subject-matter expertise to support organizational decision-making, mission outcomes, and program effectiveness. This position conducts in-depth research and analysis of complex technical issues, emerging technologies, operational requirements, capability gaps, and evolving threats within the cyber domain.\nThe Technical Analyst evaluates systems and platforms, develops data-driven recommendations, translates operational needs into technical requirements, and produces high-quality analytical products for leadership and stakeholders. This role works closely with Project Delivery Managers, Technical Writers, Knowledge Managers, technical teams, and organizational leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct in-depth research and analysis of complex technical issues, cyber capabilities, operational requirements, and technology gaps.\nPerform technical evaluations of systems, platforms, tools, architectures, and proposed solutions.\nConduct comparative analyses of technologies, products, vendors, and technical approaches.\nDevelop clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and program stakeholders.\nPrepare analytical products, including: Technical assessments White papers Capability gap analyses Technology evaluations Decision briefings Research reports Technical recommendations\nSupport requirements development by translating operational needs, mission objectives, and user requirements into clear technical specifications.\nAnalyze datasets and develop meaningful insights to support program planning, performance measurement, and organizational decision-making.\nDevelop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, as appropriate.\nMonitor technology trends, emerging cyber threats, industry developments, and evolving operational capabilities.\nEvaluate vendor proposals, technical approaches, and solution architectures.\nAssess the feasibility, effectiveness, scalability, security, and operational impact of proposed technologies.\nCollaborate with Project Delivery Managers, Technical Writers, Knowledge Managers, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and other stakeholders.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.\nEnsure analytical products and technical documentation are accurate, well-supported, and aligned with organizational objectives.\nProvide expert technical input during planning sessions, requirements reviews, solution evaluations, and leadership briefings.\nMaintain awareness of relevant cybersecurity frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative or related discipline, such as: Statistics. Mathematics, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer science or relevant STEM field and ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.\nOR\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative or related discipline, such as: Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer science or relevant STEM field and twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience\nAdvanced experience conducting technical analysis and providing expert-level technical advice to support organizational decision-making and program effectiveness.\nDemonstrated experience researching and analyzing complex technical issues, emerging technologies, operational requirements, and capability gaps within the cybersecurity domain.\nExperience evaluating technical systems, platforms, architectures, and capabilities.\nExperience conducting comparative analyses and developing data-driven recommendations for leadership.\nProven ability to develop analytical products, including technical assessments, white papers, research reports, and executive briefings.\nExperience translating operational needs and mission requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity technologies, emerging threats, industry trends, and evolving technical capabilities.\nExperience monitoring technology trends and assessing their potential operational and organizational impact.\nExperience evaluating vendor proposals, technical solutions, and recommended approaches.\nStrong analytical, research, problem-solving, technical writing, and presentation skills.\nAbility to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Project Delivery Managers, Technical Writers, Knowledge Managers, leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders.\nActive TS SCI w/ poly security clearance required.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
