In this role, you will develop, manage and coordinate the design and technical delivery of design packages across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery in line with multiple Clients expectations and project goals.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nManaging and coordinating the execution of design deliverables across multiple projects.\n\nOverseeing the preparation of designs, technical documentation including drawings, reports, and tender packages. Supporting Managers and others in developing and implementing resource plans.\n\nReviews and approves discipline staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules on each project. Maintains appropriate staffing level, including temporary personnel, as needed.\n\nMonitors the quality and progress of the discipline on each project, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.\n\nEstablishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline and recommends improvements to department procedures. Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees, offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels employees, takes corrective actions (as required).\n\nEnsures that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures. Ensures performance within overhead budgets authorized for the discipline.\n\nActively participates in and promotes the Quality Improvement Program. May head a committee within the discipline, striving to motivate and educate the assigned personnel.\n\nParticipating in design reviews, value engineering workshops, technical and safety coordination meetings. Ensuring compliance of designs with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.\n\nMonitoring progress and performance of the design team against schedule, cost, and quality metrics. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.\n\nSupporting the resolution of technical challenges during design development to ensure targets are met.\n\nPromoting digital engineering workflows and quality assurance processes.\n\nAssisting with internal knowledge sharing, mentoring, and development of standard policies and procedures. Performs any other responsibilities associated with the role\n\nAttending all design meetings to actively contribute, propose effective design solutions, and validate the Minutes of Meetings.\n\nPresenting proposed solutions across all relevant disciplines to ensure alignment and integration.\n\nFacilitating clear and consistent communication with all Project Stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure the implementation of robust technical solutions.\n\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or a related discipline.\n\nOver 20 years of experience in design, including 10 years in technical coordination roles for site infrastructure and landscape projects.\n\nProven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams in large-scale projects.\n\nStrong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.\n\nAbility to manage multiple design packages and deliverables simultaneously.\n\nProficient in design and document control tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, etc.).\n\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nPrevious experience working on infrastructure or large-scale projects in the Middle East.\n\nWorking knowledge of digital design tools and platforms such as BIM, Navisworks, or similar.\n\nUnderstanding project controls including cost, risk, and schedule integration.\n\nExperience working with government or semi-government clients.\n\nProfessional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS, PE, or equivalent) would be an advantage.\n\nKSA Driving License.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
