Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a talented Test Engineer to join our growing team!\nIn this role you will support testing activities as a member of the test, development and deployment team. You will be supporting key activities in defense of emerging threats in the cybersecurity domain and work as part of a team that develops and tailors capabilities with the common goal to prevent and eradicate threats to critical U.S. systems.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nWork to develop and execute automated test and evaluation plans for custom software as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.\nCoordinate and integrate Evaluation and Testing tasks and products\nDrive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving test and evaluation (T&E) status to help manage program risk: develop alternative courses of action, work arounds, and fallback positions with a recommended course of action for each risk, and monitor and re-evaluate risks at appropriate milestones\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph\nBachelor degree, with additional years of experience able to count in lieu of a degree\n10+ years of experience, with additional education able to count towards total years of experience.\nExperience creating and executing automated test plans, scripts, and integrating them into development.\nExperience applying techniques to create automated solutions in support of dynamic, evolving mission requirements.\nExperience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test scripts to validate new features, custom applications, configuration changes, and system upgrades.\nExperience managing regression testing including comprehensive coverage of all software/system patches, upgrades, releases.\nExperience writing/maintaining high-quality documentation for test plans, automation standards, and execution procedures.\nWhat Desired Skills You Might Bring:\nExperience working within cloud infrastructure in classified AWS environment.\nScripting experience/Python is desired\nAbility to work version control systems (e.g. SVN, GIT), and experience with JIRA ticketing tool, and understanding of basic CM principles.\nStrong written and verbal communications with experience working as part of an Agile Development Team\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
