In this position, you will be a member of a growing team supporting the development of mission critical applications for the Intelligence community.\nThis role supports a hybrid schedule and requires presence in Centreville, VA 3 days per week.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop test plans and procedures to ensure software meets agreed upon expectations \nEnsure test plans and procedures provide adequate test coverage for functional tests\nTest execution and report the progress to the team and product owners \nCoordinate with engineers to identify and report issues \nDefect testing and management\nResponsible for deploying builds for testing \nResponsible for testing in multiple environments\nManage associated test artifacts and support government test events\nMust be able to work in a cross functional team\nSupport client testing events such as Development Test (DT) and Operational Testing (OT)\nProvide testing updates to the team and upper management \nPrepare reports for internal and external use\nParticipate in SAFe planning and execution \nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or product testing. Additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.\nActive TS/SCI is required\nUnderstanding of the different types and categories of software testing\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel\nAbility to apply a variety of tools and techniques to verify complex business processes via manual, automated, and semi-automated test cases\nSelf-starter with a strong work ethic that works well with others and who can thrive in a fast-paced environment\nWell versed with Linux, VMWare, and Microsoft Windows\nExperience with JIRA\nExperience with Confluence \nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with SQL commands and queries\nExperience working with testing web apps\nExperience and familiarization with the space situational awareness domain\nExperience automating regression tests and working within software testing frameworks\nExperience with test automation using Selenium is a plus\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
