Be part of this transformative journey and help us create a lasting impact for generations to come!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop SIT test procedures and P.Eng Stamp\nReview all requirements to develop dynamic testing procedures involving multiple systems\nWork with design to develop construction staged testing strategy (P1, TZ1, TZ2, Regression)\nReview ICDs against design requirements for Validation method\nReview with T&C team subsystem requirements for SIT and interface staging against construction stages\nDerive requirements from project functional plans Gerry Wright OMF Building B Parametric Programming report\nRequirements & Derived requirements for SIT & SIT/LRV \nPower System Study - Requirements & Derived for SIT, SIT& LRV\n\nManage and update project Systems configuration state document - against project discussions and developments\nReview operational DDCRs and refine validation methods against location & readiness\nDevelop pre-requisites for T&C and manage schedule for readiness for major system SITs\nDevelop and work with performance demonstrations criteria\nBe part of T&C on site during testing, organize readiness and drive works\nSITs to be produced & stamped but not limited tooLine of sight - distance reaction times \nHeadway, min max operational speed in each section/ direction/ failure\nAcceleration / deceleration characteristics with AW loading\nDynamic tests proving RAMs\nDegraded mode operations SIG, POWER, Track, Comms - Against operation processes\nSeries - multiple LRV tests, load monitoring, harmonics, failure and rescue scenarios.\nAny testing against SOPs\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 5+ years of experience in field construction is required.\nExperience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or rail projects is preferred.\nTechnical knowledge and experience in the commissioning of Transit Rail Systems in at least one major system (Signaling, Communications, Track, SCADA, overhead catenary, tunnel ventilation, etc.).\n\nExcellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.\n\nDemonstrated commitment to Goal Zero safety program.\n\nValid Class 5 license; clean abstract preferred\n\nAbility to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions\n\nThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
