In this role you will get to be a part of an amazing team of talented tower technicians, assessing and improving our nation's communications and navigational aid tower infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nTraveling with a team of tower technicians\nConducting structural condition assessments of tower systems, including foundation, structural steel members and connection plates/bolts, appurtenances such as microwave dishes and communications antennas., cables, junction boxes, etc., grounding and lightning protection systems\nAdjusting tower guy cable tension and realigning towers as necessary\nCompleting checklists and documenting conditions using photographical evidence\nMeeting with local tower ownership, clients, and landowners\nDebriefing customers and management on findings\nConsulting with management and engineers to assist in recommended corrective actions for tower condition improvement\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nA safe work history and mindset\nComfort in climbing towers up to 400 feet. in height (though generally less than 200 ft)\nComputer skills\nCommunications skills (written and oral)\n3 plus years' experience required\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nCurrent or recent tower climb and rescue credentials\nConstruction/Steel Erection\nGuy Wire Tensioning\nKnowledge on Leica Total Station use\nFamiliarity with Fall Protection Standards\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
