Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Training Manager to join our team!\nThe Training Manager is responsible for ensuring the project training curriculum is developed and training events are conducted on time in accordance with the project schedule. Works with the Government Action Officer and Senior Instructor to plan a training event. Ensures the Senior instructor has the team and resources needed to prepare training curriculum and execute the event. Develops and implements the continuous improvement process for the program. Should be familiar with security type training projects and have CWMD training experience.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nSupports the selection of the Senior Instructor. \nWorks with the Senior Instructor and the Government Action Officer to plan training events.\nEnsures the Senior Instructor follows all steps to develop curriculum and prepare to conduct training events OCONUS. \nAssigns Instructors and personnel to develop curriculum, translate curriculum, and provides support and quality reviews for the development of training even curriculum. \nParticipates in Training Event planning meetings and leads the development of the Training Event Plan (TEP). \nConduct training needs/gap assessments. \nWorks with other managers (Task Order Project Manager and Logistics Manager), training SMEs to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. \nEnsures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. \nReviews all Training curriculum and materials for quality control. \nReviews all Training Event Reports (TER) from a quality control perspective and to ensure lessons learned are captured and applied to future events for continuously improving the program. \nPromotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes. \nMonitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. \nParticipates in weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items. \nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in a technical or educational field, or equivalent (including military experience) \n10+ years of related work experience is required. \nAt least 5 years of experience managing/conducting training events in an international environment is required. \nIncumbent should have a broad general training and business background, as well as previous CWMD training experience on similar or related projects.\nProven work experience as a Training Manager\nTrack record in designing and executing successful training programs\nFamiliarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)\nExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively\nStrong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals\nGood computer and database skills\nWillingness and ability to travel to the Parsons office in Lorton, Virginia and internationally to conduct assessments and support training events as required.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
