Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. Job Description:\nParsons is looking for amazingly talented Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Integration Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support the integration, testing, evaluation, sustainment, and operation of UAS platforms in support of U.S. Government mission requirements. You will serve as a Remote Pilot in Command, technical subject matter expert, integrator, and test engineer responsible for building, modifying, evaluating, and operating UAS platforms, payloads, command-and-control systems, and supporting technologies in laboratory, field, and operational environments.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nBuild, integrate, configure, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated support equipment.\n\nConduct UAS flight operations in support of testing, evaluation, demonstrations, training, and operational mission requirements.\n\nServe as a Remote Pilot in Command, Visual Observer, or mission support crewmember during UAS operations.\n\nDevelop test plans and evaluation methodologies for UAS platforms, payloads, software updates, firmware releases, and emerging technologies.\n\nExecute structured testing and operational evaluations to assess system performance, reliability, operational suitability, and mission effectiveness.\n\nDocument test results, technical findings, operational observations, lessons learned, and recommendations through formal reports and briefings.\n\nResearch, evaluate, and recommend emerging UAS technologies, payloads, sensors, communications systems, and software solutions for operational use.\n\nSupport requirements analysis, system validation, interface definition, and capability assessments.\n\nIntegrate payloads, sensors, communications systems, radios, antennas, and supporting hardware onto UAS platforms.\n\nUtilize CAD software to support UAS modifications, payload integration, mounting solutions, prototype development, and custom component fabrication.\n\nPerform soldering, wiring, connector fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and other hands-on integration activities in support of UAS builds and modifications.\n\nAssist with installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and operation of supporting systems such as EO/IR cameras, communications equipment, radio frequency systems, and related technologies.\n\nSupport Counter-UAS (C-UAS) demonstrations, testing, evaluations, and training activities.\n\nConduct UAS operations in diverse environments, including flying test articles to replicate operational or threat-based flight profiles.\n\nPlan and execute UAS missions using mission planning software and approved operational procedures.\n\nMaintain flight logs, maintenance records, inventory accountability, and system status within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or other approved tracking systems.\n\nComplete After-Action Reports (AARs), incident reports, technical documentation, and operational summaries following flight and test activities.\n\nSupport FAA flight coordination, airspace approvals, waiver requests, and regulatory compliance activities.\n\nSupport domestic and international deployments, including operations in austere, dynamic, and high-threat environments.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation, Unmanned Systems, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience, or at least 10+ years of related work experience in lieu of degree.\n\nFAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.\n\nExperience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or integrating UAS platforms and associated ground equipment.\n\nExperience developing or supporting test plans, technical evaluations, operational assessments, or field demonstrations.\n\nAbility to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nBasic mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and test equipment.\n\nExperience with soldering, wiring, electrical assembly, and troubleshooting of UAS-related components and systems.\n\nFamiliarity with CAD software to support UAS integration, prototyping, and modification efforts.\n\nBasic understanding of RF theory, communications systems, GPS/GNSS, telemetry, and command-and-control links.\n\nExperience with FAA flight coordination, UAS incident reporting, and operational risk management.\n\nFamiliarity with FAA Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC) processes.\n\nAbility to prepare technical reports, test documentation, flight records, and After-Action Reports.\n\nAbility to travel up to 30%, including overseas and high-threat environments.\n\nActive security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.\n\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nEngineering experience supporting UAS integration, testing, evaluation, or sustainment activities.\n\nAdvanced Remote Pilot in Command experience across multiple UAS platforms.\n\nExperience supporting UAS or Counter-UAS (C-UAS) testing, demonstrations, evaluations, or training events.\n\nExperience integrating payloads, EO/IR systems, communications equipment, radios, and mission-specific technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with military, law enforcement, public safety, or government UAS operations.\n\nExperience supporting technology assessments, capability development efforts, and operational fielding activities.\n\nKnowledge of UAS software, firmware, and hardware validation processes.\n\nExperience operating in test range, field, deployed, or austere environments.\n\nAdaptable, mission-focused, and able to thrive in dynamic operational conditions.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security
