Through F-PaaS, clients can unlock new revenue streams and deliver end-to-end financial services to their customers from day one.\n\nResponsibilities and main job tasks:\n\nDesign, develop and maintain high performance, distributed, business critical applications in the FinTech field.\n\nBuild product features on top of LLMs (retrieval, tool calling, structured output) and make them predictable enough to run inside a regulated financial system.\n\nWork with AI coding agents daily and stay accountable for what they produce. You review it, you test it, your name is on the merge.\n\nEvaluate new tools, models and approaches, and tell the difference between something that works in production and something that only demos well.\n\nSolve challenging problems, while working in a highly dynamic and technologically driven environment.\n\nOwn your code from development to production, including what happens to it after release.\n\nRequirements:\n\n4+ years of Java design and development (server side), with recent work on Java 17 or 21: records, sealed types, pattern matching, virtual threads.\n\nKnowledge and experience in microservices and distributed systems. Designing and consuming RESTful APIs, with OpenAPI as the contract.\n\nExperience with async communication and event-driven messaging architecture (Kafka, SQS or similar), including idempotency, retries and delivery guarantees.\n\nExperience with Spring Boot 3 / Spring Framework 6.\n\nExcellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Jakarta Persistence, Hibernate), plus versioned schema migrations (Flyway or Liquibase).\n\nExperience with Mongo or similar document-oriented NoSQL database.\n\nYou know how to cover your code with tests: unit, integration against real dependencies (Testcontainers), and contract tests between services. This matters more when an agent wrote the first draft of the code.\n\nDaily hands-on use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar), and the judgment to reject what they hand you when it is wrong.\n\nYou can set an agent up to succeed: prompt engineering, a clear spec, the right tools and tests wired in.\n\nGood understanding of how LLMs behave to debug them: context windows, tokens, non-determinism, hallucination, prompt injection.\n\nCI/CD, containers and Kubernetes.
