We are looking for an intern who is keen to learn about the international education arena and J-1 cultural exchange programs while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment. Bilingual language proficiency (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.\nExpected average number of hours per week:\nFall and Spring: 10-15\nSummer: May include opportunity for up to 40 hours per week, May-August, working with other departments.\nRequirements\nExperience You Bring:\nGeneral administrative support:\nCreating and maintaining files\nOrganizing the file room\nPreparing, receiving, or sending mailings\nData entry in Salesforce database\nAssisting different members of the Admissions team as needed\nAdmissions support:\nReviewing and entering teachers’ application documents \nFollowing up with unresponsive applicants via email or telephone\nTeachers’ video editing\nResponding to inquiries via email or telephone\nDiverse Licensure tasks: printing, scanning, compiling, alphabetizing documents.\nReviewing applications submitted for program participation\nEditing content in document pages or team procedures as required by the team needs.\nLicensure-related tasks as required by the Licensure Team Lead.\nCollaborate with different Admissions projects as needed\nAbout You:\nMust have excellent oral and written communication skills.\nMust have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively in a team with high work ethic values.\nMust be highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow direction.\nSpanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required.\nComputer skills: MS Office, MS Word and MS Excel required.
