Our ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role will be responsible for the following tasks outlined below.\nRESPONSIBILITES\nOverseeing of Geotechnical Engineering Project Budget and Schedule\nResponsible for supervision/oversight of field and laboratory sampling and testing\nRequires some field and laboratory work\nTraining of staff level personnel\nContracting of projects with vendors and clients\nProject lead for Construction Materials Testing Projects\nApproving Vendor Invoices, Building T&M Invoices\nGeotechnical Report preparation and review\nReview of lab and field data from others\nEnsure on-time report delivery\nClient interactions/Responses to RFI’s\nQUALIFICATIONS\nPertinent Engineering degree required\nProfessional Civil Engineer Certification or EIT required\n5+ years of experience preferred\nMust be able to work in an ambiguous, complex, fast-paced environment\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nMust be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English\nMust be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone\nVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen\nRequires frequent bending, reaching, and standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.\nField work including hand-augers, infiltration tests, logging and sampling of soil borings, will be needed from time to time\nLaboratory work, including lifting and moving soil samples and lab equipment, sieving of soils and aggregate, etc. will be needed from time to time\nCOMPENSATION\nA reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000\nThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
