This role will serve as a strategic finance partner to business leadership and report directly to the CFO, playing a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and results-oriented, with deep experience in accounting, financial planning, and operational finance within the software industry and complex, multi-entity environments. You will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to drive financial performance, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to Partner One’s continued global growth and success.\nResponsibilities\nAn Ideal candidate that can move comfortably between big picture ideas, and the tactics and action steps needed to flawlessly execute them.\nOversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for the assigned business unit(s), ensuring compliance with Partner One policies and relevant accounting standards (US GAAP).\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.\nMonitor performance of the business unit(s) against targets, providing detailed variance analyses and insights to drive informed business decisions.\nDevelop and maintain key financial and operational metrics, including ARR, churn, deferred revenue, and EBITDA.\nPartner with business leaders and the CFO to embed a cost-conscious culture focused on accountability, transparency, and value-driven decision-making.\nStrengthen internal controls, streamline accounting workflows, and ensure financial integrity across systems and processes.\nCollaborate with centralized finance teams (payroll, tax, treasury, AP/AR) to support efficient end-to-end operations.\nContribute to M&A integration efforts, including purchase accounting, opening balance sheets, and system transitions.\nManage audits, statutory filings, and compliance with local and international financial regulations.\nPrioritize mentorship, team building, and coaching to local finance and accounting personnel\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred).\n10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in the software industry or a complex, multi-entity corporate environment.\nStrong understanding of SaaS financial metrics and revenue recognition principles.\nProven experience with financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and analysis.\nProficiency in accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite, and strong Excel and financial modeling skills.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, and international work environment.\nAn ideal candidate must have demonstrated success in building teams and developing staff.\nA candidate who is obsessed with process improvement, automation, and finding efficiencies in on-going operations\nThe estimated compensation range for this role is $110,000-$140,000 USD. Actual compensation will be based on the candidate’s country of residence, local market benchmarks, and relevant experience.
