This role combines deep security engineering expertise with advanced AI and Claude experience, requiring someone who can build AI-driven security automations, identify and prioritize risks, and personally remediate issues across AWS infrastructure, servers, and application code. The ideal candidate brings extensive security leadership experience, strong coding skills, and expert-level AWS knowledge.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn and manage the overall security posture across cloud, applications, and corporate systems.\n\nBuild and maintain AI-powered security agents that aggregate, analyze, and prioritize security threats.\n\nLead incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and communication.\n\nRemediate security issues directly within AWS, application code, and infrastructure.\n\nDevelop automations and workflows to improve threat detection and remediation efficiency.\n\nManage vulnerability scanning, patching, dependency security, and compliance readiness.\n\nSecure AI and LLM implementations, including agent permissions, prompt security, and data protection.\n\nConduct threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments.\n\nPartner with Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Product teams to embed security into development processes.\n\nProvide security reporting, executive-level risk communication, and audit support.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\n10+ years of Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Incident Response experience.\n\nExpertise with Claude, Claude Code, AI agents, MCP servers, APIs, and AI automation workflows.\n\nExperience designing and deploying production-grade AI agent systems.\n\nStrong programming skills in Python and .NET (C#).\n\nExpert knowledge of AWS security services, networking, IAM, infrastructure, and cloud architecture.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD security, server hardening, and SIEM platforms.\n\nDeep understanding of application security, vulnerability management, and security frameworks (NIST, CIS, SOC 2, ISO 27001).\n\nKnowledge of AI-specific security risks, including prompt injection and data leakage.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to translate technical risks for business stakeholders.\n\nFluent in Spanish and English.\n\nAviation, aerospace, defense industry experience and Azure/GCP exposure are a plus.\n\nBenefits Offered\nMedical benefits to keep you healthy and secure.\n\nPaid time off to recharge and enjoy life outside of work.\n\nCompetitive base salary + lucrative commissions.\n\nComprehensive training to ensure you’re set up for success.\n\nClear career growth paths and development opportunities.\n\nBe part of a fast-growing, innovative company that’s shaping the future of aviation commerce.\n\nWhy Join PartsBase?\nAt PartsBase, you're not just joining another sales team, you're joining a company that has spent 30+ years revolutionizing the aerospace and defense industry through cutting-edge technology, powerful data intelligence, and the world's leading aviation marketplace.
