This includes monitoring intercompany account balances, liaising with other corporate departments and business units, and execute ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.\nThis role has high exposure across the organization due to interactions required. Given that the output is used for external reporting, accuracy and timeliness of results and reports is critical. A high degree of technical knowledge, analytical ability and attention to detail is required.\nPerform analysis of corporate expenses and assist with balance sheet analytics\nAssist in consolidation using Hyperion Financial Management\nPrepare month-end and quarter-end corporate journal entries within HFM\nAssist in monitoring intercompany elimination for assigned financial statement line items\nCoordinate CEO/CFO certification of key controls and submit to management for review and sign-off\nAnalyze and prepare schedules for various financial statement information\nLiaise with other groups within Finance (FP&A, BU Accounting, Tax, Treasury) to respond to corporate close and consolidation specific inquiries as required\nManage reconciliation sign offs by all teams across finance\nParticipate in ad hoc projects, analysis, and preparation of reports for Senior Management\nWhat You Bring:\nUniversity degree or College diploma in Accounting or Business Administration \nWorking towards completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA)\n2+ years of relevant work experience\nStrong working knowledge of consolidation principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)\nSolid accounting fundamental skills\nAdvanced working level of Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nTeam spirit and commitment to continuous quality improvement\nAbility to work well with all levels of the organization and build/maintain strong relationships\nWorking knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management or PeopleSoft is considered an asset\nLocation: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid: In-office 4 days a week)\nWe’re always looking for great talent!
