optimize SQL Server databases.\nLead critical system design and architectural decisions, prioritising scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\nGuide the seamless integration design between backend services and client-side Vue.js applications.\nDrive continuous improvement in development practices, elevating code quality, testing standards, and DevOps maturity.\nProvide mentorship to junior engineers, proactively identify technical risks, and formulate mitigation strategies.\nCollaborate across distributed teams, actively participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, and influence the broader technical direction.\n\nWhat our client is looking for:\n\n10+ years in software development with demonstrated ability to lead back-end initiatives and deliver complex, full-stack systems end-to-end.\nAdvanced expertise in .NET Core / C# for building scalable, production-grade RESTful Web APIs.\nStrong experience designing distributed, enterprise-grade systems, applying Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimization.\nExperience implementing and optimising CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and proven ability to mentor engineers and conduct technical reviews.\nExcellent skills for articulating architectural decisions, trade-offs, and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExposure to modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js), ETL workflows, cloud-native architecture,
