The HR Generalist manages and facilitates processes related to recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy administration. This role requires outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, a broad knowledge of human resources, and a talent for employee relationship management.\nPrimary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nRecruitment: Coordinate with stakeholders to support recruitment processes including maintaining job descriptions for all positions, working with hiring managers to support prescreens and interviews, and completing reference and pre-employment checks.\nOnboarding: Oversee all onboarding processes, benefits administration, and facilitate staff introductions and facility tours as appropriate.\nLearning and Development: Administer employee development and training opportunities.\nEmployee Lifecycle: Administer performance management programs, policy administration, and oversee all offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and providing feedback to management as appropriate.\nPayroll: Provide backup support for payroll processes and payroll database updates as needed.\nGeneral Administration:Regularly communicate with staff on pertinent human resource matters, answer questions, and facilitate problem resolutions in an appropriate and professional manner.\nFacilitate the planning and execution of organization-wide meetings and other staff events.\nKeep up to date with the latest human resource trends and best practices.\n\nManagement: Provide management and mentorship to Accounting and People Operations Specialist\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications:\nMinimum 4 years’ experience in a similar human resource role.\nExcellent verbal and written and communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail.\nHighly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Office 365 strongly preferred).\nA self-starter able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.\nEmployee Benefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance (100% employer paid premium for employee coverage)\n401(k) + Company match up to 2% - Fully vested on day 1\nDiscretionary Time Off\nPaid Holidays (9 per year)\nSupplemental Insurance Benefits available\nAt cost veterinary care, medications and pet food,when available\nPawternity leave and animal family member bereavement\nOpportunities for Advancement\nEmployment:\nFull-time, Non-exempt 4 days, 9 hours per shift (36 hours per week)\nCombination of remote and onsite at our sanctuary in Monroe, WA.\nStarting Salary Range: $60,320-$64,480 annually\nPasado’s Safe Haven provides equal employment opportunity.
