This is aopportunity to build expertise at the intersection of commercial HVAC, intelligent controls, and cutting-edge AI while helping shape the future of the built environment.\nWhat you’ll do\nWork on our deployment sites: Work alongside our Applied Engineering team to deploy and validate autonomous building technologies in live commercial buildings.\nInvestigate Building Systems: Perform site surveys, inspect HVAC equipment and controls, and gather the information needed to support digital twin development and successful deployments.\nValidate Systems: Test building controls, sensors, actuators, and equipment to ensure systems operate correctly and are ready for autonomous operation.\nTroubleshoot Across the Stack: Diagnose issues spanning mechanical equipment, building controls, networking, and software, following problems from the physical system through to the autonomous platform.\nSupport Autonomous Building Deployments: Assist with system startup, functional testing, and deployment activities while working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable field performance.\nCollect and Analyse Building Data: Capture, organise, and validate operational data from building systems to support system optimisation and continuous product improvement.\nWhat you’ll bring\nIf your experience does not meet all our posted requirements below, we’d still love to hear from you. If that’s you, please apply!\nYou must have\nProven experience: Commercial HVAC experience. This means having spent time in mechanical rooms installing, surveying, testing, or commissioning equipment.\n\nExceptional communication skills:Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and leaders in changing environments. Bonus points for Dutch language skills.\n\nOrganized and strategic:Curious, open-minded, and eager to contribute while continuously learning. Self-directed and capable of making progress independently without needing constant direction\n\nCollaborative mindset: Work effectively across teams, customers, and subcontractors to deliver successful deployments.\n\nAdaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to learn, iterate, and innovate. Flexible and comfortable operating in uncertain or changing situations.\n\nProblem solving: You own this role. When issues arise, be the empowered force that solves them, rolling-up.\n\nYou should have\nFamiliarity of working on sites: Comfortable working on site, including climbing ladders, working in dark or tight spaces, opening panels, and testing control signals with a multimeter\n\nInterest in following problems to solution: Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to follow a problem from the physical equipment through the controls and software.\n\nIt’s helpful to have\nBuilding automation or commissioning experience: Experience programming supervisory or field controllers. Experience performing point-to-point checkout and validating systems against sequences of operation.\n\nControls Hardware: Experience with embedded systems such as Raspberry Pi or similar edge-computing devices.\n\nFamiliarity with: Linux, command-line tools, Bash, Git, Docker or Podman, and systemd.\n\nExperience working with: SQL, GraphQL, databases, APIs, or structured equipment data.\n\nKnowledge of: Building energy analysis or building-performance experience,creating or using operational dashboards.\n\nAbility to: use trend data and analytics to identify and root-cause building-system faults.\n\nWe know there are candidates who might not fit everything we’ve described above, or who might have experience and skills we haven’t considered.
