Our technology organization is in the midst of a significant transformation journey, including large-scale modernization of core insurance platforms, migration toward cloud-native and event-driven architectures, expansion of AI-powered business and engineering capabilities, adoption of agentic software development practices (AI-DLC), and the creation of a next-generation digital platform for insurance, payments and customer services.\nWhat you'll do:\nDefine and evolve our enterprise architecture and technology strategy.\nLead modernization of core platforms - policy administration, claims, underwriting, pricing, and customer/CRM systems.\nDrive cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices architecture at scale.\nLead real, hands-on adoption of AI-DLC and agentic software delivery.\nDesign RAG architectures, knowledge graphs, MCP-based systems, and multi-agent architectures.\nEstablish AI governance, security, and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated code and analysis\nOwn vendor/platform selection, build-vs-buy decisions, and technical debt strategy\nPartner with executives, product, and engineering leaders to turn strategy into architecture\nRequirements\nRequirements\n10+ years in software engineering, 7+ years in senior architecture roles (Principal/Enterprise/Solution Architect)\nDeep cloud experience - AWS required, Azure a strong plus\nMicroservices, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, enterprise integration\nHands-on (not just theoretical) experience with LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, knowledge graphs, or MCP-based architectures\nComfortable influencing through expertise, not hierarchy - you'll work directly with executives\nStrong plus: experience in insurance, banking, financial services, fintech, or payments - especially with policy administration, claims, or underwriting systems\nThis is a chance to build the architectural foundation for PassportCard's next decade of growth -
