This role partners with the supply planning team to develop scalable reporting solutions, deliver actionable analysis, and improve the quality and accessibility of supply chain data.\nThis position is highly project-based and will contribute to initiatives that span inventory health, supply planning, ERP processes, reporting automation, KPI development, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate is technically curious, analytically rigorous, and capable of independently solving ambiguous business problems.\nWhat You'll Do\nAnalytic and Reporting Duties\nDesign, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions for Supply Planning and other Supply Chain teams. \nDevelop and maintain SQL-based reporting layers to support operational and strategic decision-making. \nPartner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable data solutions. \nConduct ad hoc analysis related to inventory, supply planning, fulfillment, and product availability. \nValidate data quality and investigate discrepancies across reporting systems. \nData & Process Improvement\nAssist in developing and maintaining data models and reporting assets using Snowflake. \nIdentify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve business processes through analytics. \nDocument business logic, KPI definitions, and data lineage to improve reporting transparency and consistency. \nSupport testing and validation of new reporting enhancements and data products. \nContribute to cross-functional initiatives involving ERP processes, planning systems, and analytics tools. \nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate closely with Supply Planning team to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations. \nCommunicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. \nSupport prioritization and execution of analytics projects aligned to supply chain objectives. \nServe as a trusted partner to stakeholders by balancing business context with analytical rigor. \nWho You Are\nProblem Solver: You enjoy tackling complex and ambiguous problems, breaking them into manageable components, and identifying practical solutions. \nCurious: You naturally ask \"why\" and are motivated to understand how systems, processes, and data connect. \nSelf-Sufficient: You can independently research, troubleshoot, and work through challenges while knowing when to ask for support. \nCollaborative: You enjoy partnering with stakeholders across business and technical teams and can build strong working relationships. \nCommunicator: You can clearly explain analytical findings, technical concepts, and business impacts to diverse audiences. \nDetail Oriented: You care deeply about data quality, accuracy, and creating solutions that stakeholders can trust. \nContinuous Learner: You are excited to expand your knowledge of supply chain operations, analytics, and technology platforms. \nExperience You Bring\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. \n2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, or a related role. \nAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. \nExperience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau. \nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. \nExperience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nPreferred:\nExperience using Snowflake. \nExperience with dbt or modern data transformation tools. \nExperience supporting supply chain, inventory, planning, operations, or ERP processes. \nFamiliarity with Python, Power Query, or additional analytics tools. \nExperience gathering business requirements and supporting cross-functional projects. \nAt Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs, according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys.
