Although your primary responsibilities will be in the Shipping department, this role is cross-functional and there may be opportunities to assist in other departments within the distribution center, including but not limited to Inventory Control, Receiving, Returns, Worn Wear, or Repair Processing, as needed. All these functions are critical to the success of Patagonia and Patagonia meeting its mission to save our home planet.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nShipping: Picking, Packing, and Shipping merchandise for the four divisions of Patagonia; Mail Order, Retail, Wholesale and International. \nInventory Control: Sort and put back to shelf returns from Direct, Wholesale and Retail customers.\nReceiving: Assist in the unloading, receiving, and palletizing of inbound shipments.\nReturns (Guarantee Services): Process all direct and wholesale returns efficiently and accurately.\nQuality Control: Work with Reno Quality Auditor staff performing 100 % inspections to meet Patagonia Quality Standards; includes, but not limited to: managing workflow, organizing paperwork and communication of project results.\nRepair Processing: Intaking and evaluating all incoming direct from consumer repairs to determine repairability.\nWorn Wear: intake and evaluate customer trade-ins, prep, pick and pack customer orders.\nWho You Are:\nPassionate - Deeply passionate and committed to saving our home planet. \nPassionate about learning and developing new skills. \nAdaptable - skilled at dealing with ambiguity and flexible in a changing work environment.\nResilient - comfortable and confident through busy and stressful shipping seasons.\nDetail oriented- pays attention to all details of a project and process.\nEncouraging - able to bring a positive attitude and demeanor to work every day.\nTeam Player- enjoys working with others in a team-oriented approach.\nInclusive- acknowledges own’s experience and experience of others.
