be professional in written, verbal, and personal actions; seek new knowledge and experiences and have an analytical mindset to utilize factual data to develop creative and business-oriented solutions.\nThis role will report to the Equipment/Inventory Manager.\nDetailed Description\nWork independently and as part of a team\n\nMaintain and enhance working relationships with internal customers.\n\nManage receipt, storage, shipment of product/materials used in the warehouse.\n\nOversee assembly/disassembly of all motors in computer system, administration of the Company’s motor log, and availability checks.\n\nAssist in planning daily production using warehouse management system and forecasting tools.\n\nEstablish priorities in the repair and maintenance facilities for all material planning.\n\nCoordinate with logistics on all outgoing shipments.\n\nEngage in material management and inventory control activities related to work in progress.\n\nCoordinate material planning with the warehouse management group and provide upcoming needs.\n\nAssist other employees in coordinating build sheets and job board updates.\n\nEnsure effective material flow between warehouse, production, and job sites.\n\nPrepare and maintain plan/schedule for internal production, using information from operations forecasts.\n\nMonitor progress and performance of projects and communicate status to operations.\n\nCollaborate effectively with other supervisors and managers and internal customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.\n\nEnsure processes, procedures and standards are met throughout the entire project.\n\nEnsure policies and procedures are interpreted and applied consistently, ensuring accountability and compliance with company goals.\n\nPromote a safe, clean, and productive work environment.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nJob Requirements\nStrong client-facing and teamwork skills.\n\nProficient computer skills, specifically using Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.\n\nExcellent organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\n\nKnowledge of oilfield terminology and parts related to directional drilling systems.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.\n\nMust have good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact productively with co-workers, third parties and customers.\n\nAbility to work under deadlines including time-sensitive response situations will be common, therefore working extended schedules that will include working days, and occasionally nights, weekends and holidays may be required.\n\nTravel to MSD facilities required.\n\nExperience aligning customer demands with production requirements and facilitation of deliverables.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n1+ years of experience in the repair and remanufacture of oilfield equipment related to directional drilling systems.\n\nWarehouse Management System experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPossess in-depth knowledge of materials, resource and capacity planning, scheduling, performance measurements, customer relations, quality control, inventory management and continuous improvement.\n\nUnderstanding of oilfield terminology and parts, specifically related to downhole drilling systems including Mud Motors and MWD systems.\n\nPrevious experience with parts management and/or sales.\n\nWorking Conditions\nThis position requires the person to work in both an office and remanufacture warehouse facility environment. The Sr. Admin Material Planner must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties.
