continuous improvement.\nDetailed Description:\nData Platform Operations\nOwn the day-to-day operational health of cloud-based data pipelines and platforms\n\nEnsure high data availability, freshness, accuracy, and completeness\n\nLead operational support for batch and streaming data workloads\n\nData Reliability & Quality\nDefine and manage data SLAs, SLOs, and reliability metrics\n\nImplement and maintain data quality checks, validations, and monitoring\n\nDesign processes for backfills, reprocessing, and failure recovery\n\nCloud & Infrastructure\nOperate and optimize GCP-based data services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and GKE\n\nPartner with platform and SRE teams on scalability, performance, and cost optimization\n\nManage data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)\n\nAutomation & Tooling\nBuild and maintain Python-based automation for data operations and monitoring\n\nImprove reliability and repeatability through standardized tooling and workflows\n\nSupport and enhance data orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow / Cloud Composer)\n\nIncident Response & Operational Excellence\nLead response to data incidents, including triage, mitigation, and root cause analysis\n\nDrive post-incident reviews and track corrective actions\n\nCreate and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and playbooks\n\nCI/CD & engineering\n\nAnalytics and business stakeholders\n\nMentor engineers and help raise the operational maturity of the data organization\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n7+ years experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, or Data Platform Operations\n\n3+ years experience operating cloud-based data platforms in production\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including:\n\nGCP: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub (or equivalents)\n\nCloud Monitoring & Logging\n\nBigQuery\n\nDataflow\n\nDatastream\n\nIAM and networking\n\nComposer/AIrflow\n\nKubernetes: deployment, scaling, reliability patterns\n\nObservability: GCP Cloud Monitoring, Logging\n\nStrong proficiency in Python for data pipelines, automation, and operational tooling\n\nExperience with data orchestration frameworks (Airflow preferred)\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)\n\nExperience with Azure Devops\n\nProven experience leading data incident response and operational improvements\n\nStrong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’sdegree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\n7+ years experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, or Data Platform Operations\n\n3+ years leading or owning production data platforms in a cloud environment\n\nDemonstrated technical leadership of data operations initiatives or teams\n\nAbility to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, receive and
