Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and Hadoop applications.
- Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Work extensively with OpenShift and containerized application environments.
- Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications across development, testing, and production environments.
- Support Hadoop/Data platform deployments and related DevOps automation.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes using scripting and DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency.
- Implement best practices for source control, continuous integration, continuous delivery, configuration management, and release management.
- Monitor application/platform health and troubleshoot deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues.
- Participate in production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help define and implement DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices for enterprise data platforms.
- Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and high availability across deployment environments.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD.
- Good experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong working experience with OpenShift.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem / Big Data platforms.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with scripting/automation such as Shell/Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience with Git or other source-code management tools.
- Understanding of build and release management processes.
- Experience troubleshooting application deployments and infrastructure issues.
