This role will focus on working directly with customers to translate and adapt their CAD models into formats compatible with our proprietary systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys thinking creatively and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.\nIdeal candidates will be able to work throughout the summer and into the fall semester.\nWhat You’ll Do\nInterface with customers to receive, interpret, and transfer CAD models into Path’s system.\nModify or clean up CAD files as needed to align with autonomous weld planning.\nCollaborate with engineering and software teams to troubleshoot model-related integration issues.\nDevelop and prototype fixturing concepts or part setups to enable automated welding.\nIdentify and implement creative design solutions to improve manufacturability and system performance.\nDocument processes and lessons learned for knowledge sharing and system improvement.\nWho You Are\nPursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).\nStrong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDetail-oriented with a bias toward action and creative problem-solving.\nPrevious internship or project experience in manufacturing or design is a plus.\nWho We Are\nAt Path Robotics we love coming to work to solve interesting and tough challenges but also because our ideas are welcomed and valued.
