The role offers ongoing opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and hands-on experience with solutions that shape the future of our business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that support deployment automation and cloud operations.\nBuild reusable CI/CD, infrastructure, and operational automation patterns using infrastructure-as-code and secure DevOps practices.\nDevelop integrations across Azure services and enterprise platforms to improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, security, operations, and application teams to modernize platform engineering capabilities.\nImprove platform reliability, performance, monitoring, and operational visibility across cloud environments.\nMaintain engineering standards through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.\nStay current with emerging cloud, automation, platform engineering, and DevOps technologies.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nProficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C#, .NET, TypeScript, Python, and/or PowerShell.\nExperience designing and building backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.\nExperience building cloud-native solutions and supporting modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for scalable, secure deployments.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native patterns for application hosting, automation, integration, and operations.\nUnderstanding of source control practices and CI/CD tooling used to manage build, test, release, and deployment workflows.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and repeatable environment management practices.\nKnowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB and NoSQL) and data modeling.\nUnderstanding of monitoring, reliability, and operational support considerations in distributed systems.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Azure services used for backend integration and automation, such as App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and related platform services.\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).\nExperience with observability, logging, and monitoring tools in cloud environments.\nExperience working in secure or regulated environments and collaborating closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams.\nExperience implementing secure software delivery practices across development and deployment pipelines.\nFamiliarity with or hands-on experience using AI-powered productivity tools to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and work quality strongly preferred.\n\nPay Transparency: Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $105,000 - $130,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training.
