Benefits include comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, flexible spending options, flexible PTO, life insurance, education support, a 401(k) plan, parental leave, and more.\n\nJob Description: We are looking for a Tax Senior to serve and anticipate all of our clients’ tax and family office service needs in a timely and accurate manner.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrive the tax return preparation process and estimates to produce timely, compliant tax returns.\nLeverage staff and intern support through effective communication regarding workflow.\nAssist managers with initial detail review of individual, trust, partnership, and multistate tax returns, quarterly reports, and other family office projects.\nProactively manage and organize the clients' relevant financial information, resulting in a complete and accurate family database.\nInput all the tax information to prepare complex tax returns.\nUse available information to prepare and review quarterly projections and tax estimates for the clients enabling effective tax and financial planning.\nUsing all available resources, assist with the preparation of the family office deliverables for client quarterly meetings.\nResearch, recommend and follow up on various tax and financial planning and other ad hoc requests.\nOther family office duties as assigned or needed.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s in accounting or other related field is required. CPA is preferred.\n3 to 5 years’ public accounting tax experience with a Certified Public Accounting firm serving high net worth families or Family Office Services experience is preferred.\nFamiliarity with or hands-on experience using AI-powered productivity tools to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and work quality is strongly preferred.\nPay Transparency: Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $70,000 - $89,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training.
