This role combines legal operations, contract management, project coordination, and regulatory support. The successful candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, manages multiple priorities simultaneously, and helps drive scalable legal processes across the organization.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDraft, review, and negotiate financing documents and third-party contracts, consulting attorneys as needed.\nReview, redline, and manage template agreements, including, but not limited to NDAs, online banking agreements, ACH service agreements, wind-down letters.\nReview and approve loan closing packages for funding.\nReview marketing materials, disclosures, customer communications, and new product initiatives for legal and regulatory considerations\nSupporting attorneys with legal documentation and contract administration.\nPartner with business teams to gather information, identify issues, and facilitate efficient legal review.\nManage and coordinate responses to subpoenas and other legal process requests.\nProvide litigation and bankruptcy support, including document collection, matter tracking and collections and records management.\nAssist with management of legal matters, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and supporting reporting requirements.\nSupports the Legal and Compliance technology, processes, and tools, including procedures across the department.\nAssist with third-party risk management, vendor contracting, and related governance activities.\nProvides first-level end-user technical support of key legal department systems and introductory end-user training.\nCreates and collaborates with the Legal team on department presentations, focus meetings, and related requests.\nAssist with project management and process improvement efforts.\nSupports broader legal operations responsibilities including regulatory examinations, audits, and compliance initiatives.\nPlays an active role in advancing Legal Operations initiatives, including process optimization, technology enablement, knowledge management, and department scalability.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat You Will Need:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\nParalegal certificate preferred.\n5+ years of related experience.\nExperience supporting commercial and consumer lending, fintech, payments, sponsor bank, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), or other regulated financial services businesses strongly preferred.\nExperience supporting litigation, bankruptcy and subpoena management preferred.\nCompetencies:\nIntegrity, attention to detail, communication skills, organizational skills\nThe responsibilities listed above are not all inclusive and may be changed at any time.\nSalary range: $28.80 hourly - $48.35 hourly\nThe salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
