# Lab Supervisor

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following: Monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained and reporting any problem or concerns to the assigned Technical Consultant or designee; Ensuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications and reporting any problem to the assigned Technical Consultant; Assuring that proficiency testing is performed within the appropriate time frame; Assisting Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient treatment and care including locating patients, obtaining accurate vital signs by visual and auditory measures, triaging patients, assessing patients’ problems, and preparing patients for physicals and medical treatment by Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses; Handling Physician, Extender, and Nurse requests with respect and in a timely manner.
