{"id":2362126,"url":"https://alion.io/job/patient-first-x-ray-supervisor","title":"X-ray Supervisor","company":{"id":2307640,"name":"Patient First","domain":"patientfirst.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/patientfirst","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":{"grade":"B","score":75,"open_postings":22,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":1,"repost_share":0,"time_to_fill_p50_days":null,"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"}},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Pasadena, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":70000,"max_usd":165000,"period":"year","method":"role_country_seniority_unknown","sample_n":14270},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-01","last_verified_at":"2026-10-22T03:03:54Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":23,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":23},"description":"The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:\nSupervising all X-ray Techs to ensure all responsibilities are completed and quality work is performed;\nFunctioning as an administrator and working as an X-ray Tech as directed;\nEnsuring that X-ray Techs are qualified under state specifications; ensuring X-ray Techs deliver quality technical performance;\nEnsuring appropriate x-rays are ordered and communicating with the PACS Administrator as needed;\nUnderstanding how to process images using DR and archiving images through PACS;\nAddressing Physician requests with respect and in a timely manner;\nAssisting with treatment area duties, including triage and patient care, while providing exceptional customer service;\nMaintaining the X-ray Conversation Book, checklists (X-ray, CPR, Center Appearance and Cleaning), Quality Control, Radiation Monitoring Records, and State QA Book;\nUnderstanding and using the Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Medical Records Needing Review, and X-Ray Status Listing;\nActing as a Patient First representative for the DMS or Medical Director in their absence to ensure smooth operation of the center;\nImplementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation, as well as addressing radiation badge safety;\nMaintaining quality assurance for all X-ray Techs in the X-ray Department and keeping records of all outside studies ordered by Patient First;\nObtaining quality x-rays using correct positioning, markers, and technical factors;\nMaintaining integrity of all equipment and supplies in the X-ray Department;\nSubmitting monthly x-ray staffing schedules and performance evaluations for the X-ray Department;\nConducting interviews and training new staff;\nEnsuring that all required documents are read and understood by X-ray Techs;\nCleaning work area, performing biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines, and completing other maintenance assignments as directed;\nAdhering to established Patient First policies and procedures;\nEnsuring the safety of patients when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment;\nUnderstanding and using the medical record system, including registration, processing of the patient, and medical records and hardware or software problems;\nAttending staff meetings as directed;\nBeing available as needed, as breaks and mealtimes may be interrupted at any time for patient care and to maintain center operations;\nOperating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained;\nFostering teamwork in a positive and professional atmosphere;\nProviding positive, warm, and friendly service in all interactions;\nWilling to work at any center due to a staffing issue, center emergency, or a reduction of work;\nCompleting other duties as directed.\nMinimum education requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:\nMust be 18 years of age or older;\nHigh school graduate or equivalent;\nRegistered member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required or graduate of approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program;\nLicensed, if required in the state of employment;\nAbility to hear pages, bells, and phone system;\nAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time;\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds;\nAdequate verbal, written, and typed communication skills required;\nAbility to prioritize and multitask;\nMust provide the highest quality medical care and professionalism.\nSalary Range: $38.50 -
