{"id":2362122,"url":"https://alion.io/job/patient-first-x-ray-technologist-2","title":"X-ray Technologist","company":{"id":2307640,"name":"Patient First","domain":"patientfirst.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/patientfirst","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":null},"role":"Early Careers","role_family":"Early Careers","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Fairfax, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-02","last_verified_at":"2026-10-14T02:03:33Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":12,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":12},"description":"Sign-on Bonus!\nStudent Loan Assistance!\nThe responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:\nObtaining quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure;\nImplementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation;\nCreating and documenting x-ray CD copies correctly according to Patient First guidelines;\nAssisting Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient treatment and care including, but not limited to, locating patients, obtaining accurate vital signs by visual and auditory measures, triaging patients, assessing patients’ problems, and preparing patients for physicals and medical treatment by Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses;\nHandling Physician, Extender, and Nurse requests with respect and in a timely manner;\nFiling and maintaining all x-ray paperwork;\nEnsuring the safety of patients when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment;\nUnderstanding and using the following Patient First reporting tools: Daily Log, X-ray Listing, X-ray Status Screen, and Impression Log;\nUnderstanding and using the medical records system;\nCleaning work area, performing biological cleanup in accordance with OSHA guidelines, and performing other maintenance assignments as directed;\nRestocking x-ray and Treatment Area supplies as needed;\nAttending training classes and staff meetings as scheduled;\nWorking with fellow employees and externs during on-the-job training;\nDirectly supervising (physically present in the room and available to furnish assistance and direction during the performance of all patient services) externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants performing quality x-ray exams using correct positioning and radiation exposure according to Patient First guidelines;\nBeing available to assist as needed (breaks and mealtimes may be interrupted at any time to provide necessary patient care or to maintain center operations;\nChecking email, reviewing assigned memos and policies, and completing assigned checklists during each shift.\nMinimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:\nMust be 18 years of age or older;\nMinimum typing experience;\nHigh school graduate or equivalent;\nRegistered member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or graduate of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program required.
