If you're 70% of this list and hungry to close the gap, apply.\nThe Role:\nAs a Full Stack Engineer at Patlytics, you'll own full-stack features end-to-end on a platform used by Fortune 500 legal and IP teams, shipping work that directly shapes how the world's largest companies protect their ideas. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive the development of our AI-powered patent software.\nAs a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll:\nBuild features across our Python/FastAPI backend, Next.js frontend, and LLM inference pipeline, each serving millions of patent analysis requests\n\nWork on our core backend service, AI platform, and data pipeline service to provide a scalable and stable Patlytics’ user experience\n\nWork with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across the company to bring new features and products to Patlytics’ customers\n\nCollaborate with other engineers to deliver, architect and improve our systems\n\nImplement best practices to improve the engineering team’s development experience\n\nOptimize both frontend and backend applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring smooth performance across various components in our tech stack\n\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in full stack development, and actively contribute ideas and suggestions to improve our development processes.\n\nRecognize impediments to our efficiency as a team (\"technical debt\"), propose and implement solutions. Have real authority to act on it, not just flag it\n\nParticipate and solve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack\n\nAbout you:\nA strong technical background, with 4+ years of experience in Full Stack and API development within an agile software development team\n\nExperience in JavaScript (TypeScript experience preferred)\n\nExperience with React (Next.js), TailwindCSS, state management libraries including Redux or Zustand, data fetching libraries including TanStack query or SWR\n\nStrong working experience with SQL and Python in production\n\nStrong sense of product ownership, with experience driving projects from ideation to completion autonomously\n\nStrong interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy and the ability to distill technical concepts into digestible pieces\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, start up environment and work with extreme ambiguity to deliver on outcomes\n\nBonus:\nStrong technical writing skills\n\nHands on experience working with AI applications\n\nExperience developing open source software and developer tools\n\nWe offer:\nComprehensive health coverage -
