This team is involved in deep investigations into fraud-related trends, payment processing, and overall fraud analysis. The team is split between the US and Porto-based teams.\nAbout the Role\nResearch and respond to customer contacts regarding issues related to suspicious activities\n\nReview suspicious accounts using internal and external fraud tools, and take action in accordance with Patreon's policies.\n\nIndependently determine and recommend an appropriate course of action following fraud detection\n\nWork cross-functionally with our Content Moderation and Product Support teams regarding account suspensions, closures, and other fraud matters.\n\nHelp identify process improvements and contribute to key projects and initiatives.\n\nAbout You\n1+ years of professional experience, including 1+ years of customer-facing contact experience\n\nFluent in English\n\nSelf-starter who is very comfortable dealing with ambiguity\n\nKnowledge of, and experience utilizing fraud investigative techniques and practices\n\nAbility to analyze, summarize, and communicate findings and issues drawn from facts\n\nDemonstrated ability to forge strong working relationships within and across multiple disciplines\n\nHighly collaborative, team-oriented, shared-success mindset\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\n\nComfortable with performing repetitive tasks\n\nBasic Zendesk knowledge is a plus\n\nBasic payment processing experience is a plus\n\nBasic Excel knowledge is a plus\n\nAbout Patreon\nPatreon powers creators to do what they love and get paid by the people who love what they do.
