The schedule is Thursday-Saturday 6am-6:30pm.\nResponsibilities\nBe flexible to running the site during certain days and potentially months during launch year (2026) as we expand / grow into the building.\nComfortable working in and leading a team in a live construction environment \nOversee shift management and their teams of 250 workers total; oversee management staff of 4-5\nAssist in operations by working with General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager on other shift\nPre-shift meeting with management team to plan for shift\nResponsible for ensuring that shift meets production goals and direct/indirect labor targets\nSend out shift report showing how the shift was executed along with details communicating why the team was able/not able to achieve its goal\nProvide guidance and support to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality, and safety\nResolve employee relations matters and conflicts working with HR to develop sustainable solutions\nDaily meetings with team as well as direct reports to ensure changes, policies, and procedure updates are communicated\nFacilitate open communication between 1st and 3rd shift and between departments on shift to ensure teamwork to achieve common goal\nPromote a positive work environment through excellent verbal communication, listening, and promoting company standards\nDevelop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve process quality\nHelp contributors understand and connect to our vision, mission, strategy and business priorities\nEnsure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting, and exemplifying safety guidelines\nOvertime during peak periods\nQualifications\n3-5 years in supervisory role, preferably with a focus in a distribution center/warehouse environment\nMinimum of 1 years of operations experience in a warehouse/distribution, logistics environment\nAble to maintain confidentiality\nFamiliar with Warehouse Management Software to track and solve problems with orders\nMust be able to display effective communication to associate, management and executive staff members\nPrior experience creating and executing a shift plan\nUnderstanding of basic math and excel formulas\nUnderstands how important process control is to the business\nFlexible- Embraces Change\nProblem Solver\nProficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, as well as Google Suite, Gmail\nPrevious experience/knowledge of Workday preferred\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to follow procedure, practice sound judgment and practice a fair and consistent management style\nComfortable working and communicating with a diverse employee demographic\nExcellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to walk or stand for 8-10 hours\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs by hand\nPallet jack experience (electric or non-electric)\nPull, push, bend, kneel, crouch\nOT required during peak season (25-30% of the time)\nBenefits\nMedical PPO and HSA with employer match plan options\nDental, Vision, STD, Supplemental Insurance plans\nCompany Paid LTD and Life Insurance\n401K match -
