This internship will provide hands-on experience in corporate communications, digital content, brand management, and communications operations. The intern will work closely with the External Affairs team to help build and strengthen digital communications programs and systems, while also reviewing and enhancing Pattern's corporate collateral and the systems used to organize, maintain, and access those materials. This internship is ideal for someone interested in the intersection of communications, technology, digital experience, and process improvement.\nInternship Accountabilities\nDigital Communications Programs & SystemsSupport the development and organization of communications programs, tools, and workflows.\nAssist with documenting and improving processes for creating, reviewing, approving, publishing, and maintaining communications content.\nHelp identify opportunities to make communications processes more efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.\nSupport the organization and maintenance of digital communications resources and content libraries.\n\nCorporate Collateral & User ExperienceConduct an inventory and review of existing corporate collateral\nHelp update and refresh corporate collateral to ensure information is clear, current, consistent\nPartner with team members and internal stakeholders to understand collateral needs and opportunities for improvement.\n\nContent & Communications SupportAssist with drafting, editing, proofreading, and formatting communications materials for internal and external audiences.\nHelp adapt approved messaging and content across different communications formats and channels.\nSupport special External Affairs/Communications projects and initiatives as needed.\n\nInternship Learning & Development Opportunities:\nThrough this internship, the Communications Intern will gain practical exposure to:\nCorporate and digital communications within a growing renewable energy company.\nBuilding communications systems and repeatable processes.\nCorporate brand and collateral management.\nContent organization and governance.\nUser experience and communications technology.\nCross-functional collaboration with internal business partners.\nDeveloping a tangible body of work that improves how corporate communications resources are created, managed, and accessed.\nQualifications\nEducation/Experience Required\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nInterest in digital communications, content management, technology, and user experience.\nAbility to organize information and think critically. \nComfortable learning new digital tools and platforms.\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nThe expected starting pay rate for this role is $26.00 - $28.00 USD/Hour.
