If you are a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking, we encourage you to apply in Lehi, Utah available to 1L students only.\nWhat does a typical day look like for an Legal intern?\nShadowing members of the Legal department as they perform their duties\n\nAssisting with legal research, analysis, and record maintenance\n\nDrafting legal documents, such as contracts and memos\n\nReviewing contracts and flagging key terms, risks, and issues for attorney review\n\nResearching legal questions relevant to ecommerce, commercial, and intellectual property matters and concisely summarizing findings\n\nSupporting compliance and corporate governance tasks\n\nParticipating in team meetings to learn how the Legal team supports business partners across the company\n\nTaking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about legal and office operations\n\nWhat will I need to thrive in this role?\nCurrently pursuing a juris doctor degree at a top tier law school, 1L students only\n\nPossess an understanding of legal principles and a positive attitude\n\nDemonstrate strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely\n\nDemonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy\n\nDemonstrate strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\n\nInterest in area or areas of law related to Pattern’s business (corporate, litigation, M&A, securities, intellectual property, etc.)\n\nDemonstrate collaboration, trustworthiness, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn\n\nHandle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity\n\nLearn to work as part of the Legal team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the internal company clients\n\nWhat does high performance look like?\nYou follow through with all assignments in a timely manner\n\nYou give superior effort to all tasks and projects assigned to you\n\nYou take full ownership of your projects and follow through to completion\n\nYou produce accurate, well-organized, and well-written work product\n\nYou ask thoughtful questions and apply feedback quickly\n\nYou protect confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times\n\nWhat is my potential for career growth?\nThis role will provide opportunities for mentorship and networking\n\nYou will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day work of an in-house legal team at a fast-growing ecommerce company\n\nYou will build practical research, drafting, and contract review skills that support your future legal career\n\nWhat is the team like?\nYou will collaborate closely with full-time Legal team members and receive supervision from the General Counsel and other Pattern attorneys.
