Inspect and troubleshoot automated conveyance and sortation.\n\nConduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.\n\nPlan, schedule, and implement corrective actions using available tools and equipment.\n\nUtilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track & complete work orders, log maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.\n\nCreate, open and close work orders electronically.\n\nTroubleshoot and analyze root cause for machine malfunctions to include photo-eye sensors, conveyor motors, belts, rollers, stretch wrappers, dock doors, etc.\n\nRead and interpret schematic drawing for motor controls circuits.\n\nDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical system issues to minimize downtime.\n\nAssist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.\n\nCollaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.\n\nPerform safety inspections on maintenance and production areas.\n\nAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. (i.e. Lockout tagout and OSHA Standards)\n\nClean and assist with upkeep of facilities.\n\nQualifications\nExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center environment.\n\nPreferred: Technical certification or associate degree from a vocational school/college with mechanical or electrical focus.\n\n2+ years of experience with basic trades and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480v.\n\nKnowledge of control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.\n\nMust have outstanding attendance, and be able to work a flexible schedule.\n\nMust be organized and able to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.\n\nAbility to work independently and adapt to priority changes to maximize equipment availability.\n\nPrevious experience operating PIT equipment (work at scissor-lift heights expected).\n\nPhysical Demands\nAble to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours\n\nAble to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head\n\nMust be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces\n\nAbility to lift up to 50
