Inspect and troubleshoot automated conveyance and sortation.\nConduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.\nPlan, schedule, and implement corrective actions using available tools and equipment.\n Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track & complete work orders, log maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.\nCreate maintenance schedules; generate, open and close work orders electronically.\nConduct basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.\nTroubleshoot and analyze root cause for machine malfunctions to include proximity sensors and photoelectric sensors, conveyor motors, stretch wrappers, dock doors etc.\nRead and interpret schematic drawing for motor controls circuits.\nDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.\nAssist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.\nCollaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.\nPerform safety inspections on maintenance and production areas.\n Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. (i.e. Lockout tagout and OSHA Standards)Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff.\n Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities.\nQualifications\nExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center environment\nPreferred: 3+ years experience with automated conveyor systems, maintenance apprenticeship, and repairing material handling equipment.\n Preferred: Technical certification and associate degree or higher in a related field.\n3+ years of experience with basic trades and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480v.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.\nMust have outstanding attendance, and be able to work a flexible schedule.\nMust be organized and able to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.\nAbility to work independently and adapt to priority changes to maximize equipment availability.\nProficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.\nExperience with CMMS software for managing maintenance activities.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.\nPrevious experience operating PIT equipment (work at height expected).\nPhysical Demands\nAble to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours\nAble to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both
