You will also monitor operations for the region and implement changes when needed and will assure internal controls are in in place and enforced.\nEssential Functions\nTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request a reasonable accommodation, notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position.\nFinancial Controls\nSupervise the activities of the regional accounting center\n\nPreform monthly financial close in timely and accurate manner\n\nReconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly\n\nYearly develop regional budgets\n\nQuarterly develop financial forecasts\n\nDevelop information and present meaningful operations reviews to the Division\n\nProvide information to satisfy external financial reporting requirements when needed\n\nProvide support and direction for the regional management, sales and operations teams when needed.\n\nContribute leadership as needed to direct reports. Assist in objective planning and feedback throughout the year. Furnish knowledge and training as needed.\n\nPeople Management:\nManages direct reports including the hiring, development, performance management, goal setting, and other managerial duties.\n\nEnsures direct reports are aware of and follow established business policies, practices, and Company’s Code of Conduct to create a supportive and productive working environment.\n\nJob Qualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.\n\nAt least 5 years of accounting or finance experience, knowledge of accounting principles, and demonstrated inventory, costing, general ledger and financial analysis skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output.\n\nExcellent prioritization & organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables.\n\nVerbal & written communication skills that provide direct, succinct messages and can be understood by financial and non-financial business partners.\n\nAbility to identify areas of improvement and work with management to optimize processes.\n\nProficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP\n\nPrevious experience with SAP\n\nStrong interpersonal and relationship management skills\n\nCPA or CMA\n\nWorking Conditions\nPhysical Demands\nOperating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday\n\nMay occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment\n\nMust be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.\n\nMust be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendors\n\nMust be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.\n\nEnvironmental Factors\nThis position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building.
