The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nDetailed Description:\nGenerate and process accurate and timely customer invoices.\nVerify billing details for completeness and accuracy before submission.\nProcesses invoices to customers by interfacing with other personnel and utilizing the billing software and financial systems while validating that proper approval has been obtained prior to customer invoicing.\nMaintain and update customer billing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nInvoice submission via portals and B2B.\nEnsure supporting documentation aligns with company policies and invoicing guidelines.\nCollaborate with internal teams to gather necessary billing information and resolve discrepancies.\nProvide exceptional customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.\nSupport continuous process improvement initiatives related to billing operations.\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nJob Requirements:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to include emails, memorandums as well as presentations in both one-on-one and group settings\nStrong organizational skills with time management and multi-tasking abilities\nAbility to solve problems and create departmental efficiencies\nBroad base of knowledge and skills related to maintaining accounting records, specifically for accounts receivable \nProficient in detailed data entry\nA self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team\nAbility to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with challenges\nAbility to work under pressure\nPersistence in finishing projects in spite of hindrances\nAbility to adjust and adapt to changing schedules, individuals, and tasks\nProficient in the use of computers and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPrevious experience in billing.\nAbility to work overtime when needed is a must\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate’s Degree.\nFamiliarity with SAP\nWorking Conditions:\nThe Billing Specialist requires the ability to work in a time sensitive, high visibility role while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered. Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential.
