Candidates must be able to disassemble, assemble and perform tool, equipment and facility repair and maintenance as required.\nThis role performsunder the direction of the Motor Shop Manager.\nDetailed Description:\nWork on an array of mechanical issues related to shop tools and equipment and facilities.\n\nRepair and replace damaged or worn parts. Make any and all repairs to equipment on an as needbasis.\n\nDismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.\n\nClean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.\n\nRead and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.\n\nPerforms routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machinery continueto run smoothly.\n\nMaintain a safe, clean and orderly work area\n\nEnsure that all equipment is clean and in good working order\n\nRepair and maintain facility’s needs - changing light bulbs and air filters, small appliances such as but not limited to ice makers, watermachines, etc.\n\nEmployee must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others, including coworkers and third parties, while wearing any required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times\n\nCompletes all required work orders and paperwork as required\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned\n\nJob Requirements:\nAble to work overtime as needed/required. Available for call-outs(evenings/nights, weekends and holidays)\n\nAble to travel as required for meetings, training, seminars, etc. which may be overnight, day(s), week, etc.\n\nAble to work well independently and in team settings\n\nAbility to provide information to supervisors and coworkers by telephone, in written form, email, or in person\n\nAbility to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts\n\nMust be able and willing to work in extreme climate and work conditions\n\nBasic keyboarding or other small motor skills occasionally\n\nOperation of heavy equipment or vehicles\n\nLifting/pushing objects (75 lbsmax)\n\nClimbing or working in awkward or cramped positions\n\nWalking or standing for prolonged periods\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\nCandidates must live within a 45 to 60 minute radius of the office.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical/Trade School experience\n\nKnowledge of hydraulic pneumatics\n\nKnowledge of gearboxes, transmission, welding techniques, rigging, rotating equipment maintenance, lubrication, non-destructive testand general mechanics.\n\nTechnical knowledge of mechanical maintenance operations.\n\nTorque Master maintenance experience\n\nWork Environment\nThis position requires the employee to work indoor/outdoor for long periods in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiationand heights.
