In this role, you will partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess learning needs and create effective learning solutions, including eLearning, video, virtual, and face-to-face instructor-led sessions.\nYou will be responsible for:\nLeading end-to-end learning solutions for technology transformation projects, ensuring learning deliverables are aligned with project timelines and business goals.\nConducting learning needs analysis for technology initiatives by partnering with internal and external stakeholders and SMEs to identify learner needs, gaps, and appropriate learning solutions.\nProviding guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and SMEs on learning requirements, timelines, risks, and implementation to support successful outcomes.\nApplying current instructional design and adult learning principles, theories, and best practices to develop engaging learning activities and course content that enhances retention and transfer.\nFacilitating training as required.\nApplying technical expertise to the design, development, and maintenance of multimedia learning solutions that are timely, engaging, and interactive for adult learners.\nUsing multimedia instructional design and technical expertise to design, develop and/or author online courses (including SCORM/AICC requirements) and learning resources (e.g., manuals and job aids).\nDevising assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of learning.\nRemaining current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in learning and eLearning solutions.\nYou have:\nA Provincial Instructor’s Diploma (PIDP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), or Adult Education certification.\n5 years of experience of designing and developing learning solutions, preferably in support of technology implementations or large-scale change initiatives within a retail or customer-focused environment.\nProject Management certification is considered an asset.\nProven experience in instructional design and instructional technology.\nSolid knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and screen recording platforms such as datango, Snagit, or Camtasia.\nVisual design skills using programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.\nExcellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.\nYou are:\nAn effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, who can understand complex technical processes and translate them into clear, effective learning solutions for diverse audiences.\nSkilled at influencing and building credibility with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management and prioritization skills.\nAdaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nPassionate about learning and continuously enhancing the learner experience through emerging learning technologies, tools, and best practices.\nWhat we offer:\nIn addition to a highly competitive salary, we offer a great range of benefits, a company pension plan, free parking, exclusive team member offers, and opportunities for development and career progression.\nIf you’re looking to join a team that puts people first, you’re in the right place.
