The role involves research and data analysis, monitoring relevant trends, preparing research outputs, and maintaining accurate records of research activities.\n\nJob Description\n\n The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\n\n Conduct literature reviews, desk research and evidence gathering from credible academic, policy and industry sources.\n\n Collect, clean, organise and analyse economic, financial, trade, investment and development\u0002related data; assist with quantitative and qualitative research.\n\n Monitor relevant macroeconomic, financial, trade, investment and sustainability trends and prepare briefings when requested.\n\n Support the preparation and editing of research papers, policy briefs, reports, presentations, conference papers, manuscripts and grant proposals, including referencing and formatting.\n\n Identify relevant calls for papers, conferences, grants and funding opportunities and share them with the Cluster Head and faculty.\n\n Maintain research databases, datasets, bibliographies and records; track project, publication and deliverable progress.\n\n Support Cluster seminars, workshops, conferences and research engagement with industry, government and development-sector partners.\n\n Perform other research-related duties assigned by the Cluster Head.\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor’s degree i n economics, finance, accounting, trade, investment, development, sustainability, or a related field is desirable.\n\n Familiarity with research methods, data analysis, academic referencing, and research ethics is an advantage.\n\nRequirements/Competencies\n\n Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.\n\n Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
