You'll be the vital link between our US business and our UK accounting team, keeping the books, the vendors, the payroll, and the compliance running smoothly.\nThis role is hybrid, based in our Park Ave based office.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAccounts Payable & Vendor Management\nScan and code invoices and expenses ahead of entry in Open Accounts (OA)\nProcess payments by check and ACH for all US payables\nMaintain vendor files and W9s, resolve discrepancies, and keep vendor relationships running smoothly\nHandle 1099 administration and annual filings\nCorporate Cards & Expenses\nOwn the full US corporate card program - issuing and cancelling American Express cards for new hires and departures\nConfigure and support expense management processes for accurate, compliant reporting\nManage corporate card submissions and inquiries\nBanking & Cash Management\nMonitor all US bank accounts and reconcile deposits, coordinating paperwork with UK credit control and accounting\nOversee merchant accounts, including chargebacks and new account setup\nPayroll & Benefits\nProcess biweekly payroll through TriNet, partnering with HR on system administration\nReconcile expense reimbursements and payroll deductions\nTax & Compliance\nGenerate sales tax reports across stores and ecommerce using internal systems and Avalara (or similar)\nPartner with the SVP, UK finance, and US accountants on tax matters, notices, and audits\nCross-Functional Support\nLiaise with UK finance on commission and bonus payments\nManage setup and distribution of mobile devices for US staff\nSupport payment provision for pop-ups and events outside the main POS system\nTake on other projects as they come up - no two weeks look exactly the same\nWho you are:\nStrong communicator who can confidently connect departments and time zones\nSharp attention to detail and the organizational chops to juggle multiple priorities at once\nProficiency across Microsoft Office\nA track record of thriving in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment\nHigh energy, strong work ethic, and a genuine team-player mindset\nSelf-starter energy - motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative\nReal enthusiasm for the Paul Smith brand and what it stands for\nWhy you’ll love working with us\nWorking at Paul Smith means being part of a brand that celebrates creativity, individuality and authenticity.
