We work across a variety of industry verticals that deal with high volumes of user-submitted images, where AI generation or digital editing is a direct fraud signal, as well as KYC, insurance, and other documentation-heavy businesses, where we serve as a first layer of fraud prevention.\nAbout the Role We're looking for a senior-level accountant to independently manage full-cycle finance operations across our two SaaS products. This is not a training or shadow role. You will own accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax preparation and filing from day one, working directly with the CEO and leadership team.\nKey Responsibilities -Accounts Payable & Receivable\nManage vendor bills and payment runs\nOwn client invoicing and subscription billing, and follow up directly on collections for past-due accounts\nKeep AP/AR records accurate and current\nBookkeeping & Reporting\nPerform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple accounts\nClose the books on a monthly schedule and deliver monthly P&L and net income figures to leadership\nPrepare supporting schedules and variance analysis as requested\nTax Preparation & Filing\nPrepare and file US multi-state sales tax returns\nCalculate and remit federal and state income tax obligations, coordinating with outside tax preparers where needed\nSupport quarterly VAT filings for our international entity\nMaintain audit-ready documentation for all filings\nCash & Treasury\nMonitor account balances and execute transfers between operating and reserve accounts\nFlag cash flow issues proactively before they become problems\nProcess & Tools\nIdentify bottlenecks in existing financial workflows and propose automated solutions\nQualifications\n5+ years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience, including direct ownership of AP and AR, not only support work\nHands-on experience actually preparing and filing tax returns, not just reconciling or reviewing them\nStrong working knowledge of US GAAP\nCPA, or actively pursuing CPA, strongly preferred\nProficiency in Xero required;
