If you have strong GAAP or IFRS expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building scalable financial processes, this role is a great fit.\nResponsibilities\nAccounting Operations & Financial Close\nLead month-end and year-end close processes.\nReview journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.\nMaintain accurate, audit-ready financial records.\nOversee day-to-day accounting operations.\nFinancial Reporting\nPrepare GAAP or IFRS-compliant financial statements.\nDeliver P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.\nPerform variance analysis and provide financial insights.\nSupport executive, board, and investor reporting.\nInternal Controls & Compliance\nMaintain internal controls and accounting policies.\nCoordinate external audits and prepare audit documentation.\nSupport tax compliance and regulatory reporting.\nMonitor financial governance and risk.\nBudgeting & Treasury\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.\nMonitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.\nManage banking relationships and treasury activities.\nAssist with capital allocation and financial analysis.\nTeam Leadership & Process Improvement\nLead and develop the accounting team.\nImprove accounting workflows and financial systems.\nSupport ERP implementations and process automation.\nDevelop scalable accounting procedures and controls.\nRequired Experience & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n7+ years of accounting or finance experience.\n2+ years of accounting leadership experience.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.\nExperience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise.\nAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nNice to Have\nCPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA.\nPrevious experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager.\nExperience with ERP implementations or financial system migrations.\nBackground in SaaS, professional services, real estate, or technology.\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nTimely month-end close and accurate financial reporting.\nStrong internal controls and audit readiness.\nTimely regulatory and tax compliance.\nReliable reporting that supports business decisions.\nEfficient accounting processes and a high-performing team.\nInterview Process\nInitial Recruiter Screening\nRecruiter Interview\nClient Interview\nOffer & Onboarding\nWhat Happens After You Apply\nRight after you apply, you’ll receive an email invitation from Spark Hire to record your Intro Video.
